Purpose
The request for a study on the ways child carers talk about young children's aesthetic learning processes is rooted in a previous research and development project.
Result
The child carers expressed increased awareness of aesthetic learning objectives and their own role in relation to capturing children's attention and listening to children and about how the carers themselves had acquired new ways of talking about their own and the children's learning.
Design
The data were collected through focus group interviews and one-to-one interviews with nine teams of child carers. The informants were interviewed at the beginning and at the end of the project.
